    The Japan Foundation, Toronto, is pleased to announce that after 9 months of closure, our library and gallery will re-open to the public on Thursday, July 29, 2021.

    Our priority is to protect and support our visitors, staff, and volunteers. The library and gallery will be open with reduced hours and modified services as below.

    The 3rd “Kyoto Literature Award” is open!

    Requirement is a novel that deals with Kyoto.

    There are three categories for Award such as” General”, “Junior High School and High School Students” and “Overseas,” and applicants can either be professionals or amateurs.

    We call for entries from all over Japan and the world.

    In the 2nd time, the entries in the ”Overseas” category won the highest award in the ”General” category beyond the category.

    The due date is September 13th.
