    Honda has begun producing and delivering critical components for the production of much-needed ventilators to Dynaflo Inc. of Reading, Penn. Honda teamed up with Dynaflo to increase Dynaflo’s production of diaphragm compressors, a key component of portable ventilators that are used in hospitals and by first responders throughout the country to help those stricken with the COVID-19 virus. The companies are aiming to produce 10,000 compressors per month once production reaches capacity. Honda and Dynaflo expect to maintain production of compressors through the end of August.     Here is a video recording presented by the National Association of Japan-America Societies (NAJAS) from April 27 entitled "Diplomatic Challenges in Asia", featuring the Chairman Dave Shear. Dave updated the leaders of the Japan Societies on the diplomatic challenges the US faces in Asia and the impact of COVID-19 on those challenges and made it available for the Members of the Societies.

    The Canada Institute brought together a panel of expert speakers on Tuesday, April 14 for a video conference briefing to give an update on the novel Coronavirus and how Canada and the United States are working together during this crisis. Director Christopher Sands moderated a discussion with Alan BersinKathryn FriedmanLaurie Trautman, and Solomon Wong who detailed the temporary border agreement and the impact this has on trade between the two nations.
