This event is organized by JET Alumni Association Toronto and the Japan Society is supporting this initiative!
The Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Programme is a Japanese government sponsored exchange programme that offers university graduates opportunities to work in Japan as either an Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) team teaching with a Japanese Teacher of English in elementary and secondary schools or a Coordinator for International Relations (CIR) in selected local government offices in Japan.
This event will have something for everyone; from JET Programme returnees and mid-career JETAA members to contacts in the Japan-Canada related professional networks. The purpose of the event is to expand networks and explore different aspects of professional development and career building.
With support from the Consulate General of Japan in Toronto and the Japan Foundation Toronto, the event is designed in two parts. The night will be kicked off with an energizing Keynote, then roll into the first half of the evening with professionals from various sectors who will present talks or run workshops on various topics.
The workshops will be followed by a networking reception to further engage with industry representatives. You can attend both parts of event or either one of the part. Please attend to support the JETAA.
